 Frequently Asked Questions

Is the retainer practice a substitute for insurance?

The retainer is not a substitute for health insurance. We are not aware of any medical insurance policies that will cover our annual retainer practice enrollment fee.

What is your process for accepting new patients?

Please contact our office to arrange an introductory meeting to discuss your medical needs and see if it would be a good fit.

What is the fee to enroll?

The annual fee is $5,000 per person.

Do you follow your patients in the hospital?

Yes. I am proud to say that my colleague Dr. Kwok and I are the last two primary care doctors in Marin who still manage our hospitalized patients. I feel that inpatient/outpatient continuity is valuable to patient care.
